Lily stared at the window-like screen. There, laid out for her, was the vastness of space. Infinite night. An infinite, starry sky. She had never in her life seen anything so beautiful. In that moment, she knew she could never go back. She knew that she could never leave Arsinoe.
‘I should take you back to Earth,’ Arsinoe said.
‘No, there’s no way. I can’t imagine living planet side. Not now.’
‘Space travel is no good for earthlings. I’m no good for earthlings.’
Lily turned to face Arsinoe. The alien queen looked regal as always. Her skin was softly silver, her eyes dark and shining. Lily remembered being afraid the first time she met Arsinoe. She couldn’t imagine being afraid now.
‘I’m staying,’ Lily said.
‘What use are you to me?’
‘I can think of two good uses.’
Lily could pilot the ship. It was so simple a beginner could do it. That would give Arsinoe time off to do as she pleased, even during landing and takeoff when autopilot could not be engaged.
The second use, Lily dared not speak out loud. Her cheeks flamed even thinking about it. How quickly she came to fantasise about being taken to Arsinoe’s bed! She pictured herself in the fine alien-silk sheets. She could almost feel the kisses on her neck, the hand marks on her thighs. Oh, how delicious it would be.
‘I do not take lovers from other planets,’ Arsinoe said.
Lily burned with embarrassment. She had long suspected that Arsinoe could read her mind. Here she had proof. Still, it allowed Lily to make the offer she could never be brave enough to speak out loud.
Keep me as your lover. Do what you want with me. Rules be damned.
Lily transmitted her thoughts directly, with no trace of fear or doubt. She met Arsinoe’s gaze boldly. Even when her stomach quivered, it was excitement rather than fear.
She wrapped her hand around Arsinoe’s wrist, feeling the blood pulsing there. Arsinoe, the alien queen, was more human than any human Lily had met. The connection between them was like fire.
‘Keep me with you,’ Lily said out loud.
‘All right,’ Arsinoe said. ‘But I do not take lovers from other planets.’
‘I am not from another planet,’ Lily said. ‘I’m no longer Earth-bound. I’m a being of the stars. My life is lived onboard a spacecraft.’
Arsinoe smiled. Her purple lips were shiny and wet. Lily imagined closing the gap and kissing her. Kissing those incredible lips.
She didn’t need to imagine for long. It was Arsinoe who closed the gap between them. It was Arsinoe who kissed her. It was like being hit by a truck, being torn to a thousand pieces. It was as if her atoms had burst apart, causing one hell of an explosion.
Arsinoe pulled back. ‘Come to my chamber.’
Lily went willingly.
Arsinoe’s chamber was hung with rich velvet and silks. Purple and black with silver trim. In the centre of the room was a round bed, strewn with alien-silk sheets. Lily did not like to think about how such fabric was made. Instead, she focused on the softness of it. It felt like butter in her hands.
Lily crawled onto the bed, letting it sink down beneath her weight. Lily was not a slight woman. She was big and bountiful. Her large breasts strained to escape from her bra. Bras! Who would think you’d still need a bra in space?
Lily unclasped the lacy torture device and threw it on the floor. She was in just her underwear now. Her beautiful body was on display. Never had she felt so confident, so supreme.
Arsinoe stood in the doorway, watching. Her dark eyes blazed.
‘Come on over,’ Lily said, feeling nothing but confidence.
Arsinoe did not step closer. Instead, her body seemed to evaporate into a mist. A blue smoke took over the room. That was Arsinoe. That was Lily’s lover.
The blue smoke folded around Lily’s body, smoothing over her skin. The touch was subtle, like nothing Lily had ever felt before. Then it grew firm. Just like those hand marks Lily had imagined. She was being touched, played with, aroused by a non-Earthly lover. She could never have imagined it would be like this.
The orgasm seemed to develop on its own. It grew from a pit right at the bottom of Lily’s abdomen. It turned into a whirlwind that took in all of Lily’s body, from her fingertips to her toes. She found herself begging for release.
The blue smoke once again took on the form of Arsinoe. Her strong, powerful body covered Lily’s. Her hands reached for Lily’s arse. Lily found herself moaning, shrieking. She found herself coming without a hand between her legs.
How was this possible?
She didn’t know and she didn’t care. She let herself fly through the air, enjoying the deep roundness of her climax. Her fingers seemed to melt. Her toes screwed up. And, for a second, Lily disappeared into that delicious nothingness.
She woke up to find Arsinoe lying between her legs.
‘Don’t tell me, you don’t take lovers from other planets,’ Lily said.
‘I always worried they would be afraid.’
‘Afraid of you?’
Lily couldn’t imagine being afraid of Arsinoe. Not now.
